An Evening of Scottish Country Dance in Celebration of Spring
Live music to be provided by Terpsichore: Liz Donaldson, Piano, and Elke Baker, Fiddle.
Piper Joe Smith will lead the Grand March.

Friday, May 9:
7:30 pm; Celtic music concert with Elke Baker and Liz Donaldson
St. Luke’s Episcopal Church, 3424 Forest Ave., Des Moines
Saturday, May 10:
34th Annual Ball: All events at the Collegiate United Methodist Church-Wesley Foundation Annex, 130 S. Sheldon Avenue, Ames, Iowa. We will gather in the main Auditorium and entrance is through the WEST door off Sheldon. Free parking available in the lot north of the building. The price of $50 ($45 early-bird) includes dancing and refreshments with a $20 discounted charge for students. This year, we won’t have a separate walkthrough during the early afternoon. We will walkthrough dances as needed at the ball to make sure everyone can participate.
2:00 pm; Social Gathering
3:00 pm; Grand March and Ball Program
6:30 pm; After Party – Location and directions distributed at the Ball. Potluck food and bring instruments!
Sunday, May 11:
12:00 Noon; Farewell Potluck Brunch at the CUMC Annex, 130 S. Sheldon Avenue, Ames Auditorium.
There will be English Country Dances, taught and prompted by Linda Lieberman and Scott Kalberer, with live music provided by Cecil’s Harp and friends.
